Wrong Position of the Band

Over-Inflated Band

Over-inflated band, in oblique position, small pouch and passage

Notice the limited passage of contrast medium

Notice the totally obstructed stoma.

Notice the large proximal pouch.

Patient suffers from total food intolerance. Persistence of situation may lead to pouch enlargement and re-operation.

Obstructed stoma due to over-inflation: this shows the importance to check the adjustment with a barium swallow before discharging the patient
